Following our exclusive interview with Andrew Winfield, one of the designers of the Air Jordan 1 Flyknit, we became aware that not only would more OG colorways of the shoe release soon, but themed pairs would also debut in the months to come.

Skipping ahead to next February, and Black History Month, Jordan Brand will debut the Air Jordan 1 Flyknit “BHM” edition. The shoe will take tonal inspiration from the Pan-African flag, joining red, black, and green shades. Not only does this palette from the world’s second largest continent fill the knitted upper, the union also marks the tricolored outsole.

Grab a first look at the Air Jordan 1 Flyknit “BHM” below and stay tuned for more leading up to Black History Month 2018.
