An unreleased OG Air Jordan 1 colorway inspires the upcoming Air Jordan 1 High ’85 “Reverse Shadow” release.

In 1985, the Air Jordan 1 released in a multitude of colorways, including the highly revered Air Jordan 1 “Shadow” iteration, which has released throughout the years. In addition to the “Shadow” pair, a “Reverse Shadow” colorway was made in 1985 but was never released.

In 2021, Jordan Brand released the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Shadow 2.0” which flipped the OG colorway but with a lighter shadow of grey. The Air Jordan 1 High ’85 “Reverse Shadow” will be a 1-to-1 recreation of the OG.

Expected to mirror the unreleased sample, the pair is built with a black leather base, grey leather overlays, Swoosh, and lining, a slightly yellowed midsole, and a black outsole. The signature Wings logo arrives in black while the “Nike Air” tongue tag branding is dressed in grey. However, the exact details are unconfirmed at the moment.

The Air Jordan 1 High ’85 “Reverse Shadow” releases in Summer 2025 for $200 via SNKRS and select retailers.
