Earlier this year, Jordan Brand announced its premium “Wings” Air Jordan 1 collection, which released exclusively in Beijing.
Crafted in Italy, each pair exemplified Jordan Brand’s commitment to meticulous craftsmanship, premium materials, and a pursuit of excellence.
The collection paid homage to the enduring elements that solidified the Air Jordan 1‘s iconic presence in sports, culture, and style — from 1984 to the present — elevating them to heirloom status designed to endure for generations.
Each pair was hand-stitched by an Italian artisan, showcasing 3-layer hand-painted leather edges. The internal lining is heavy satin, and the sock liners, made of poured PU, possess foot-conforming properties for unparalleled comfort. To further launch the Jumpamn in the conversation of modern luxury, the “Wings” collection was a modern reinterpretation of the classic.
Following the March 2024, official images of one of the Air Jordan 1 High ’85 “Wings” pairs have surfaced on the Nike server, indicating a potential release in the near future. However, nothing official has surfaced.
As of now, a general release date for the Air Jordan 1 High ’85 “Wings” has yet to be announced. If released, we anticipate the pair to release via SNKRS and potentially at select retailers.
