Jordan Brand isn’t celebrating mediocrity with the upcoming release of this Air Jordan 1 High “Bronze Medal” edition. If anything, they’re honoring the spirit of competition at the highest level – the Rio Olympics.

Gold is certainly best. Silver is great, too. Bronze? Bronze is still REALLY good. And in the case of this Air Jordan 1 High, bronze equals classic American sporting heritage in a cascading black crackled texture that borders matching black leather. Metallic Red Bronze smartly takes flight at the Swoosh and Wings logo while a bright pop of Infrared 23 fill the Jumpman at the tongue.
