We may be approaching the year 2020, but make no mistake, the most relevant silo in the sneaker culture still reigns from 1985.
The Air Jordan 1 High “Chicago” aka New Beginnings rumored for next year could see the culmination of both.
According to Sneaker Heat on Feet, the AJ1 “Chicago” will return in higher cut styling similar to that of the OG that Mike wore on court.
This makes some sense in regards to timing as February 2020 will see Chicago play host to the NBA All-Star Game.
While details are unknown or unconfirmed at this moment, this rumor does parallel that of the Air Jordan 1 “Banned” release that’s said to drop on Black Friday 2019.
Just the same, that pair is also rumored to house REACT tooling like the recent AJ1 update. Obviously, fans would most want the OG styling that Mike wore and even brought back later in his career.
Keep it locked to Nice Kicks for details on the Air Jordan 1 New Beginnings.
