Over the past three decades, the Air Jordan 1 has taken just about ever shape imaginable. The shoe has also been a canvas for material experimentation, all of which may pale in comparison to this newly previewed deconstructed version.
Stripping away the leather paneling and allowing the shoe to be seen in its rawest form, the model adopts suede construction while visible stitch work provides a window into the intended contours of the iconic sportswear silhouette.
The Air Jordan 1 High Deconstructed has emerged in black and white colorways, respectfully. More are likely to be revealed soon. But for now, take a preview below and stay tuned for more.
