Jordan Brand is getting festive for Halloween this year with the upcoming Air Jordan 1 Low “Halloween Black Cat” colorway

The “Black Cat” colorway has long held a special place within Jordan Brand, paying homage to Michael Jordan’s aggressive and quick playing style on the court. Inspired by his cat-like reflexes and ability to strike at just the right moment, the nickname “Black Cat” became synonymous with Jordan during his legendary career. The sleek, all-black aesthetic of the colorway reflects that persona, combining stealth with a bold presence.

Most notably, the “Black Cat” colorway has graced iconic silhouettes such as the Air Jordan 3 and Air Jordan 4. The “Black Cat” AJ4, released in 2006 and re-released in 2020, stands as one of the most coveted iterations, featuring premium black nubuck, matching midsoles, and minimal branding for a clean, timeless look.

The Jumpman will continue the “Black Cat” line with a Halloween twist as the Air Jordan 1 Low “Halloween Black Cat” is arriving this fall. Taking the moniker to a new level, the pair features cat eyes on the tongue; hairy suede laces, collar, and Swoosh’ and claw-like lace dubraes accompany the pair. Additionally, glow-in-the-dark details and a spider-web design on the toe box complete the Halloween element.

A release date for the pair or price has been announced. As of now, it appears that the pair will release as a Grade School (GS)-exclusive but nothing has been confirmed.
