While we still have Halloween and other Holiday-themed sneakers to look forward to before 2023 comes to a close, Chinese New Year offerings are not too far behind.

Being observed on February 10, 2024, the Chinese zodiac sign of the Dragon will once again be at the helm of a slew of Jordan Brand offerings, including this upcoming Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Chinese New Year“.

Although no official imagery has been shared as of yet, from a first look at the upcoming Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Chinese New Year“, the special edition pair sports several nods to the celestial creature, which represents strength, good fortune, and power in Chinese culture.

A sail leather base is used as the canvas, while auspicious hues of dark red and gold arrive on the profile Swooshes, heels, laces, and tongue tags. Nods to the dragon are seen on the scaled oil green overlays and rubber outsole.

Further elevating this limited offering are the unique design elements such as the Jumpman logo intertwined with a dragon graphic hidden behind the tongues, as well as the special Jumpman motifs emblazoned on the insoles. The final touch is a special Year of the Dragon-themed box.
