The Air Jordan 10 “Shadow” isn’t a shoe for everyone. For that matter, neither is the Air Jordan 10. Originally released in 1994 during a moment in time where Michael Jordan, the world’s best basketball player, wasn’t playing basketball, the 10’s often represent MJ’s first retirement as opposed to a classic mid-’90s Tinker Hatfield design.
Returning for the first time since its release 23 years ago, the “Shadow” represents the rarest of the 10s and among the most sought after by purists. Its mixture of supple suede and tumbled leather is well suited to Jordan’s budding remastered quality.
There was, of course, a variation of the model in 2008’s Countdown Pack. And although great, they’re nothing like the real thing. Come tomorrow, April 20 — the real is back.
Will you be picking up the Air Jordan 10 “Shadow” tomorrow morning?
