Baseball?
After retiring from the game of basketball, Michael Jordan needed an outlet. With MJ being one of the most competitive people on the planet, it seemed only right that he would make his way back to professional sports, but this time it involved the baseball diamond. So, on February 7th, 1994, Michael Jordan would ink a minor league deal with the Birmingham Barons of the Chicago White Sox organization in which he would don the number 45.
However, Michael’s stint in baseball wouldn’t be for long as the MLB strike of 1995 drew him back to the game he loved. Not to mention his abilities as a baseball player were severely questionable to many. Ultimately his stint away from the game was an interesting and an incredible tribute to his father.
