It’s been a year since Jordan Brand debuted their self-lacing take on the Air Jordan 11, the Air Jordan 11 Adapt, and looks like a second Legend Blue colorway is set to drop later this holiday season.
The sneaker uses Nike’s Adapt Fit technology, which uses a self-lacing mechanism using a BOA-like cable that can be controlled through an app and by the buttons on the lateral side of the midsole.
This colorway uses a ripstop material on the upper in Legend Blue that brings durability to the sneaker with a grey suede rand which replaces the typical patent leather seen on the AJ11. The grey bungee straps and “JUMPMAN JORDAN” strip hide the lacing mechanism and a grey pull-tab is featured as well. The Jumpman towards the rear is seen through the ripstop overlay with 23 printed on the heel, and the white midsole features a toggle to tighten and loosen the sneaker on the lateral side. The carbon shank plate typically seen on the 11 is replaced with the battery and an icy blue outsole finishes off the sneaker.
The Air Jordan 11 Adapt “Dark Powder Blue” is set to drop on December 28 on SNKRS and at select retailers in the near future for $500. Check out the photos below and for all things Jordan Brand, check out our Jordan Release Dates page.
