There have already been tons of questions regarding the upcoming retro of the famed Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam” this holiday season. One of the more pressing has been if the shoe would feature any aesthetic departures from the last rendition(s). Today we know that to be true.
Unlike any previously released version of the shoe, this year’s “Space Jam” retro will feature 45 at the heel. Michael, of course, wore number 45 following his first return to the game at the close of the 1994-95 NBA season. He donned number 45 in the Eastern Conference Finals against the Orlando Magic, a series in which he debuted what we now know to be the “Space Jam” 11’s.
