In 2013, Jordan Brand brought the “Taxi” back as a standalone retro, further fueling demand and nostalgia. In 2021, the brand used the “Taxi” story as the base for the “Royalty” Air Jordan 12 added a more regal look with an extra addition of gold. However, it left fans wanting the OG “Taxi” colorway.
