Jordan Brand’s “Cap and Gown” collection expands by one next season when the Air Jordan 13 joins the fold.

With a theme that began last year with a blacked-out Air Jordan 11 meant to honor high school and college graduates, the collection takes on the fit and feel of the celebratory attire one dons when taking the next step in their education or career.

The Air Jordan 13 “Cap and Gown” comes in a sleek noir sensibility with patent leather aiding in its flowing aesthetic. With this slight material enhancement comes a light hike in price, as this Air Jordan 13 will move from $190 to $200 USD.

Look for the release on May 18.

Update 4/1: Jordan Brand has officially announced the Air Jordan 13 “Cap and Gown” as one part of its Summer 2019 collection. The shoe highlights a partially patent leather upper alongside a translucent outsole and tassle-inspired laces. Look for the release later this month on April 27.
