Carmelo Anthony was that dude in high school. Playing at prep school Oak Hill Academy, the Baltimore-product was getting TV time as a teen, showing out on ESPN on the road to graduation.
The Air Jordan 13 “Class of 2002” pays homage to all of that, decking out the hologram highlighted mid top in the black, yellow and red hues associated with Melo’s coming of age on court and in the classroom. The theme of high school graduation will also be played out in PE form for the likes of Russ and CP3, with JB also putting their money where their mouth is in regards to their Wings for the Future scholarship program.
Dust off that #22 jersey and look for this Melo makeup to launch sometime this fall, rightfully around back to school season.
