In the Summer of 2018, Jordan Brand unveiled the highly-coveted Air Jordan 1 “Board of Governors,” which was limited to only 88 pairs. Now a “Board of Governors” Air Jordan 16 has surfaced.
Courtesy of @solesupreme, sneaker fans have a better look at the unreleased to the public Air Jordan 16 “Board of Governors,” which is constructed using pine green suede, black mesh and synthetic materials. Elevating the AJ16 is a matching pine green shroud. Details include the bow-tie embroidery on the shroud and the tongue, along with gold “BOG” motifs on the heel. Additionally, a special Jumpman/James Bond logo appears on the backside of the tongue along with “Exclusively Tailored for The Jordan Family” stitched into the inner liner.
It’s unknown exactly how many Air Jordan 16 “Board of Governors” were made. And in case you’ve missed it, here’s a detailed look at the Air Jordan 5 “Rainbow.”
