The wait is over as the Air Jordan 17 Low “Lightning” returns this summer.
The news of the “Lightning” AJ17 Low retro follows after it was reported that the silhouette would be making a comeback.
The Air Jordan 17 Low “Lightning” colorway, also referred to as the “All-Star” edition, was worn by Michael Jordan during his final NBA All-Star Game in 2002. Designed with a lower cut compared to the standard Jordan 17 model, the “Lightning” colorway showcases a black Dynamic Fit sleeve, a white leather upper, and striking Lightning accents. To provide additional support, a chrome strip surrounds the base of the heel, while the outsole features a traction pattern inspired by a pixelated heat map.
The Air Jordan 17 Low “Lightning” releases for $300 on May 30, 2024, on SNKRS and select retailers. For more sneaker news and Air Jordan release dates, follow @NiceKicks on Instagram.
