Some of you may be wondering why this Air Jordan 2010 does not possess a white/green color scheme like most of the Air Jordan Ray Allen PEs we have seen for the past three years. Well, that is because this Air Jordan 2010 was constructed for the 2010 NBA All-Star Game that Ray did not get selected to this year.
Jordan Brand designed this sneaker with the intention of Ray Allen being chosen as one of the reserves on the All-Star East team (we don’t blame JB for this one; Ray has made the All-Star team nine years in his 14-year career). However, Dwyane Wade and Gerald Wallace ultimately were the lone Jordan Brand representatives to wear the Air Jordan 2010 in this year’s All-Star game. As for Ray’s PEs, they coincide perfectly with the East All-Star jerseys as they own a white /navy blue color scheme comprised of suede (midfoot, window border, tongue), leather (toe, heel) and perforated leather (side panels). Its finishing touches include a navy blue midsole, a white outsole and the words, Sugar Ray along the midfoot. Now available in an auction on eBay (size 14). View detailed photos below.
