Packaging and “swag” have become huge selling points for many sneakers. From the plastic shoe trees found in the recent Air Jordan 11 releases to the miniature basketball hoop found in the Nike Zoom KD IV “Nerf” release, we’ve seen these extra bonuses become huge incentives for sneakerheads. Today, images of the Air Jordan 2012 “Year of the Dragon” packaging have surfaced for all to see and the three-tiered, pullout box does not disappoint. Just like last year’s packaging, the majority of the box is draped in a bright red tone with metallic gold embossing seen throughout.
