Air Jordan 3 “Doernbecher” (2010)

Years would pass from the initial start of the DB campaign and with the continuance of the series, it became certain it was success. However, the ascension would grown further as during the 2010 campaign as the ever-so coveted Air Jordan 3 DB would be unveiled. Designed by Cole Johanson, the creative kid decided to provide a unique take to arguably the strongest Air Jordan silhouette by canvassing the 3 in a mostly red hue while fusing black accents and a black midsole.

In addition, the model would rest atop of a translucent outsole while utilizing some of Cole’s favorite word marks such as “Strength” and “Courage.” Also, the design inspiration would drive from Cole’s love for spaghetti and chocolate.

The shoe would re-release in 2013 to add even more momentum to the Doernbecher program.
