Earlier this year, numerous reports pinned the coveted Air Jordan 3 “Katrina,” a timely and effective release of the 1988 produced shoe aiding in relief efforts after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, would debut as a retail release before the close of 2017. Today we’ve learned that the release has been pushed back.

The Air Jordan 3 “Katrina” now has a tentative 2018 release date, aligning strategically with the model’s 30th anniversary. The “Katrina” was produced back in 2006 in limited numbers with proceeds going towards Gulf Coast residents displaced by the cataclysmic storm.
