There’s no denying the global impact that Jordan Brand has. For years, his Airness and his legacy live on through his sneakers that have made special appears in every corner of the world. There’s no better embodiment of the Jumpman legacy than the Japan-exclusive releases that took off in the early 2000s and reappeared this year.
The CO.JP exclusives were meant to arrive at the heart of the Olympics pre-Coronavirus. While delays and postponements have slowed releases down, the sneakers are still coming in hot. The Air Jordan 1 “Neutral Grey” is perhaps the biggest story of the CO.JP resurgence thus far. However, an alternative Air Jordan 3 Retro SE “Denim” has emerged, and we can’t take our eyes off of it.
The shoe follows suit of its regular iteration with a “Fire Red” inspiration with denim materials taking over the once-elephant print overlays. The clear heel tab stays the same with the Jordan and Nike logos making an appearance. What makes this pair stand out (aside from the CO.JP insole) is the Nike appearing in Japanese lettering for a perfect homage that elevates the sneaker.
Take a detailed look at the pair below as we await official release information. If you’re stateside, be ready for the Air Jordan 3 Retro SE “Denim” with the branding in English.
