Tinker Hatfield’s earliest rendering of the Air Jordan 3 is now a popular production sneaker for Jordan Brand.
From the depths of 1988 to a contemporary release in 2018, the shoe most notably features a Swoosh whereas the tradition model as we know it never did.
Back for another run in 2019, its campaign will begin with the White/University Red execution not far from the Air Jordan 3 “Fire Red.” Distinctions are noted, though, referenced largely through interchangeable Swoosh branding and a suede wrap that circles the Nike Air scripted model.
Look for this Air Jordan 3 Tinker “University Red” at the close of the month on March 30.
Update 3/14: In honor of Air Max Day 2019, two classic Tinker Hatfield creations join forces to reveal the Air Jordan 3 Tinker “Air Max 1” edition. Taking from the OG Air Max 1 “University Red” colorway, Hatfield’s original Air Jordan 3 rendering incorporates the famed theme for a global release on March 30.
