Jordan Brand is returning to 2001 with an Air Jordan 3 PE that Michael Jordan wore during his first season with the Washington Wizards. While most thought the MJ wore the Air Jordan 3 “True Blue” Retro, his pair was slightly different and the PE is making its way to retailers this summer.
The sneaker at first glance looks like the True Blue Jordan 3 colorway but features copper hits around the lower eyelets and the Jumpman on the tongue. The upcoming release scraps the Jumpman on the heel for the OG Nike Air with elephant print overlays seen around the toe, heel, and laces. As expected, copper details also replace the red hits on the outsole.
The Air Jordan 3 “Wizards” is scheduled to drop on April 29, 2023, via SNKRS and at select retailers for $210. Check out the photos below and for all the latest drop dates, head over to our upcoming retro Jordans page.
