As expected, before the start of the 2018-19 NBA season in October, Jordan Brand is prepping the rollout of its latest Air Jordan silhouette. A series that ranks among the most important in sneakers is laying the groundwork for its 33rd installment. A new teaser alludes to a potential reveal date.

In a tweet yesterday, Jordan revealed an image that many will join with the looming Air Jordan 33. With a caption that states “Locked Down. #PrepareTo Fly” and the date 9/20/18, there’s a general assumption that the brand will showcase the coming design on said date. Jordan Brand hasn’t yet confirmed these rumors.
The Air Jordan 32 was a great success where Air Jordans long removed from its namesakes playing days are concerned. Equipped with Flyknit construction and a wealth of brand technical advancements, there’s a thought that its successor could be even more progressive. We’ll know more next week.
