Following the video on Air Jordan 4 “Doernbecher” Designer Isaiah Scott, we now have new, detailed images on this November 5th release. In the previously mentioned video, Isaiah’s mom stated that he gave Isaiah the nickname “Superman” because he was “strong as steel” throughout the situation he went through. Therefore, Superman inspired the majority of this design. Jordan Brand received permission to use the Superman logo by Warner Brothers after being touched by Isaiah’s story. Other distinctive attributes include Kryptonite inspired, neon green laces and subtle arrows throughout the primarily black upper, which represent the ever-changing directions that life takes us in, including the ups and downs. Additionally, a picture of Isaiah appears on the outer heel and a comic book styled “SEVEN” (Scott’s favorite number) on the translucent outsole. As stated earlier, the Air Jordan 4 “Doernbecher” will release on Saturday, November 5, at select Jordan Brand retailers.
