If you purchased the Air Jordan 5 Black/Metallic from Nike.com this weekend, under normal circumstances you could expect the shoes delivered no later than week’s end. But Nike has delayed the delivery of some pairs, as noted in emails sent out to customers today.
“We’re sorry, but there’s been a delay in getting you the item(s) below,” the email states. “The new ship date will be on or before 8/3/16. We’ll ship the item(s) as soon as it’s available and send you an email when your order is on its way.”
Nike has not yet indicated the reason(s) for the delay, so we’re left to simply speculate as to why. They have, however, offered customers the option to cancel orders. Although, we don’t see many people taking that option.
