Jordan Brand has cleared a flight path for the Air Jordan 5 to launch in large numbers this fall, with a range of colorways and hypes themes due out when the warm weather subsides. Among them are budding iterations of the newly initiated “Flight Suit” collection — a series of premium renderings that pull inspiration directly from the shoes World War II fighter plane musings.
This Air Jordan 5 “Flight Suit” edition in Triple black uniquely takes that inspiration as well as pulling from MJs famed flight suits, of which there many, including a largely black get-up with red accents. The shoe itself remains monotone though, with bold black leather and ribber leather in place of the traditional mesh window.
