A classic Air Jordan 5 returns as the the Air Jordan 5 “Grape” is rumored for Summer 2025.

Originally released in 1990, the “Grape” colorway has cemented itself as a staple in the Jordan Brand legacy and sneaker culture. Its unique blend of white, grape ice, and emerald green captured the hearts of fans, making it one of the most beloved OG colorways.

The Air Jordan 5 “Grape” saw retro releases in 2006 and 2013 and a special “Grape Fresh Prince” edition in 2018, celebrating Will Smith’s Fresh Prince of Bel-Air character. As the 2018 release garnered mixed reactions due to its laceless design, purists have longed for a true-to-original retro that captures the essence of the 90s classic.

The Air Jordan 5 “Grape” is expected to release in Summer 2025 via SNKRS and select retailers. However, it is unclear if the pair will arrive in true OG form or will have the Reimagined treatment like the 2025 Air Jordan 5 “Black Metallic” iteration.
