With a strong amount of evidence pointing towards Jordan Brand taking a stab at more “Hornets” inspired footwear, an Air Jordan 5 in the teams alternative colors seems to be on the way in the coming months. This is no surprise considering MJ is part owner of the team and the colorway isn’t exactly far removed from the original Air Jordan 5 lineage. Not quite the “Grapes” although a bit closer to the “Black Grape” (in color not materials), its said that the Charlotte Hornets inspired model is scheduled to release on May 2, 2015.
