With the Air Jordan 5 “Grape” and “Black Grape” already in circulation after releasing and re-releasing over the past few years, last week brought about the release of the Air Jordan 5 “Pre Grape.” But believe it or not, the “Pre Grape” moniker is not a new concept. In fact, it’s about 25 years old to be exact. The recently unearthed Air Jordan 5 “Pre Grape” 1990 OG Sample set the stage for the model that released this past weekend. Originally thought up in suede fabrication with similar teal and white accents, check out the foundational “Pre Grape” colorway below along with the Tinker Hatfield sketches from two and a half decades ago.
