Largely considered a summer shoe for much of its lifespan, Jordan Brand’s Air Jordan 5 shifted in seasonal representation when $400 premium pairs positioned the shoe in varying arenas. The 1990 produced shoe quickly became an all-encompassing style. That trend continues this holiday season when a satin pair is reported to release.
Of the “Bred” variety though certainly centered in the new school, the shoe stands as the very-first Air Jordan 5 to feature sleek satin fabrication. Covered in all black, timely University Red accents mark the speckled red midsole and Jumpman branding while translucent outsole tooling punctuates this very similar colorway.

Alongside the “International Flight” and “PSG” pairs, the Air Jordan 5, originally released 28 years ago, looks to have a busy remainder of 2018 with highly touted releases. This satin edition is said to release this November.
