Kobe Bryant’s Air Jordan 9 player exclusive has always been one of the more intriguing models made for the former Lakers great. And when it was rumored that the shoe would release at retail, followed subsequently by leaked images, excitement rapidly rose in hopes that the PE version would drop in OG specifications.
Well, if this new leaked image is indeed the retail version, that won’t necessarily be the case.
The original PE version featured Bryant’s number 8 at heel, which doesn’t look to be present on the 2016 version. Number 23 marks the heel like all other Air Jordan 9’s.
