Jordan Brand has more in-store for 2024 as the brand is expected to release the Air Jordan 9 OG “Powder Blue” in Spring 2024. This colorway was originally released in 1994 and returned as a Retro for the first time in 2010.

Molded to true OG specs, this Air Jordan 9 is crafted with soft “White” leather and features fresh “Powder Blue” along the midsole. The colorway deepens with a “Dark Powder Blue” mesh tongue, laces, and corresponding sock liner.

Small perforations fill the stitched windows on the mid panels, which are complemented by the sneaker’s top stitch around the mudguard. Air Jordan details round out the design as the Jumpman appears on the heel tab and rear midsole.

History of “Powder Blue” Jordan 9

The Powder Blue Air Jordan 9 was one of three original colorways of the ninth Jordan model and was famously worn by a then recently-retired Michael Jordan in a Champ Sports ad promoting college apparel donning his alma mater’s colors.
