Jordan Brand continues to tease its fans with its colorways. News of a Air Jordan 9 White/Powder-esque white and University Blue combination excited fans, while the ongoing confusion over Varsity Red vs. Infrared continues. However, this pair of 9s just surfaced, bringing a fresh look to the retro model.
The white leather upper gets help from the patent that wraps around the base, toe and ankle, which is stitched with a very dark green thread. That same grene hue appears on the outsole and tongue, as well. Citrus yellow, which we will see used in a different AJ9 later this year, works to brighten this shoe’s colorway. Numerous logos are treated to the color, as well as the laces that show a repeating “Jordan” print. These are rumored to be limited to 2,000 pairs, but Marquee Sole has an early jump in a few sizes now.
