Our last look at a white and blue Air Jordan 9 retro was a bit confusing. Having seen that shoe a number of times over the last few months, it was odd to see pictures of a slightly different version included with the release date. To further add to the confusion, Jordan Brand has now confirmed the date, but has announced that neither of the previous looks is the one that will release.
The last time around, University Blue had replaced Powder Blue on the midsole, and the liner had been changed from black to the same blue. Previously, Powder Blue could be found in all the same places Dark Powder appeared on the OG colorway. As it turns out, University Blue is the choice hue, but the liner and other details remaining black. That means we’ll get the black liner and black tongue. Does this confirmation of color also confirm that you’ll be spending $150 on these come May 29th?
