Jordan Brand has released a number of shoes this year with retro inspired silhouettes and colors. The latest of the Air Jordan Classic ’87 looks to the Steel Grey Jordan 10 for its colors. In addition to the color blocking, the sole was striped and even the sock liner matches the Jordan 10s.

The Jordan Classic 87 takes inspiration from the Jordan 2 low but with an added Air cushioned heel. The shoe also celebrates Michael Jordan’s achievements from his young years with 3 stats on the lace debray: 63, 37.1, and 35.7. It was in Game 2 of the 1986 Playoffs that Michael Jordan returned from 64 games on the bench due to a broken foot where he put up a Playoff record 63 points in a loss to the Celtics. In the 1986-87 season Michael averaged a career high 37.1 points per game followed by an average of 35.7 points per game in the Playoffs. Like the commercial says, “it’s not about the shoes, it’s about what you do in them.”

These Classic 87’s are available now at Finishline and Nike Store priced at $105.
