Constructed primarily in woven or reflective-backed mesh uppers so far, the Jordan Future appears to be getting a new material soon: patent leather. It now seems obvious that the Future would receive some patent leather eventually, as the silhouette is built on the foundation of the Air Jordan 11–the most famous patent leather clad sneaker of them all. The shiny material does indeed now arrive on the Future, with this upcoming pair sporting an eye-catching metallic gold patent leather upper printed with a faux woven design, accented with black and on top of a icy clear sole.
