It’s almost a wrap for 2021 and Jordan Brand is wasting no time welcoming the new year. The Air Jordan Spring 2022 lineup offers bright colors, breezy neutrals, and silhouettes we’ve been wanting to see more of. Take a first official look at the lineup below.
Air Jordan 12 Retro “Playoff”
The Air Jordan 12 is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2022, with the sneaker looking as sleek as ever. This colorway was originally released in 1997 when Michael Jordan wore them in the NBA Playoffs. The sneaker has a grayscale makeup with black and white leather, and hints of silver on the shank plate overlay and eyelets.
Air Jordan 1 HI OG Dark Marina Blue
This Air Jordan 1 colorway is sure to be one of the most highly sought after pairs of 2022. The upper has a classic two-tone makeup with stark black and “Dark Marina Blue” overlays. This sneaker is set to release in February, in full family sizing and extended sizing for women.
Air Jordan 1 HI OG “Brotherhood”
In honor of Michael Jordan’s time as a Tarheel, this Air Jordan 1 pays tribute to the Omega Psi Phi fraternity, one of the most historic African American fraternities in the country. The toebox and rear are made with “University Gold” leather, while the overlays and Swoosh are crafted with “Light Bordeaux.” These sneakers are set to release at the end of February, in full family and extended sizing for women.
Air Jordan 3 “Muslin”
It seems like sneakerheads have been hoping to see more of the Air Jordan 3, and so far it seems that their wish may be granted in 2022. This sneakers offers sleek neutrals that create an aged yet refined look. The upper opts for muslin, replacing the traditional leather base of this model. This sneaker is set to release at the end of March in men’s sizing.
Air Jordan 3 Retro “Cardinal”
This Air Jordan 3 keeps it classic with a white leather base and cement print overlays. “Cardinal Red” details appear on the midsole, lining, eyestays, and Jumpman branding. These sneakers are set to release at the end of February in full family sizing.
Air Jordan 4 WMNS “Blank Canvas”
One of the cleanest releases of the lineup goes to the ladies, with this canvas covered Air Jordan 4. This sleek sneaker uses the fan-favorite “Sail,” for a minimal all-over colorway. The sole has small blue and red details, with additional hints of paint splatter on the outsole.
Air Jordan 4 “Zen Master”
This Air Jordan 4 gets experimental with a cool “Amethyst Wave” colorway. It’s not everyday that we see Jordan Brand do patterns, especially on Air Jordan silhouettes. We’re curious to see what the response will be and how people will style them. These sneakers are set to drop in the middle of March in men’s sizing.
Air Jordan 4 “Infrared”
Anything “Infrared” usually goes up, so we expect a lot of people trying to get their hands on this Air Jordan 4. The upper is made with black and grey full nubuck leather, that offers contrast to the bright “Infrared” details on the eyestays. This sneaker is set to release at the beginning of February in full family sizing.
Air Jordan 5 Low WMNS Arctic Orange/Siren Red
This Air Jordan 5 comes in the rare low variation. The upper is made with premium nubuck leather in shades of “Arctic Orange” and “Siren Red.” This sneaker also features reflective backing on the quarter panels and the OG lace toggle.
Air Jordan 5 “Racer Blue”
There’s no doubt that everyone is going to want to add this Air Jordan 5 to their 2022 rotation. This sneaker takes inspiration from an unreleased sample in the 90’s. The modern iteration features a “Racer Blue” midsole and black suede upper. This sneaker comes in full family sizing and is set to release in the middle of February.
Air Jordan 6 WMNS “Mint Foam”
The ladies get another heavy hitter with this Air Jordan 6. This model has a “Mint Foam” midsole with a clean white upper, constructed with nubuck and suede leather. The sneaker sits atop an icy outsole and has a chrome-plated lace toggle. This women’s-exclusive is set to release in the beginning of March.
Air Jordan 6 “UNC”
This Air Jordan 6 combines white with one of Jordan Brand’s most popular colors, “University Blue.” This sneaker is crafted with genuine leather overlays and nubuck leather underlays. Finishing details include reflective perforations and a woven jock tag on the heel. This sneaker is set to release at the beginning of March in full family sizing.
Air Jordan 7 SE “Sapphire”
The Air Jordan 7 celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2022 and this modern iteration breathes new life into the 90’s silhouette. This sneaker has a multi-colored neoprene sock liner that peeks through the translucent mesh quarters. These details complement the nubuck leather that comes in a pale dusty rose. This sneaker is set to release at the end of March and will be available in men’s sizing, with extended sizing for women.
Air Jordan 9 “Particle Grey”
This Air Jordan 9 has a familiar color scheme with black, “Particle Grey,” and “University Red” details. This model revamps the shoe’s construction with a quilted stitch upper and a nubuck leather mudguard. The midsole has a matte finish. This sneaker will release in men’s and gradeschool sizing, sometime in January.
Air Jordan 13 “Del Sol”
The iconic “Del Sol” colorway gets applied to the Air Jordan 13 silhouette. This sneaker has hints of “University Red” on the tongue and outsole, along with an OG quilted leather upper, and cat-eye hologram. This sneaker is set to release sometime in March, in full family sizing.
