Count on eBay to provide you with some of the craziest and rarest items in existence!
Stepping up to the plate this time is an uber-rare pair of Nike Air Jordan X cleats made as a sample while Mike was playing minor league baseball for the White Sox affiliate Birmingham Barons. Much to the surprise of many (or part of David Stern’s master plan) Michael Jordan returned to the NBA in March of 1995 taking the court in the Air Jordan 10 while wearing the #45 jersey. Lately, many Player Exclusive collectors have been hot after special edition Jordan cleats worn by NFL and MLB athletes, but nothing holds a candle to a sample that was made for Jordan during his time in baseball. With less than a day left, these cleated Air Jordans are only at $119, but don’t be surprised if these fetch four figures when the closing bell rings. View the auction [here] |
