The Air Jordan 3 “Mocha” was the first non-OG colorways of the Air Jordan 3 to release to the public. The shoe sported a lifestyle color up with an all-white upper and midsole with a Mocha brown set of elephant print, outsole, and Jumpman logo. The timing of the Mochas could not have been worse for sales as they released officially just days after the tragic events of 9/11. Very few of these Jordans sold through at retail and many ended up on clearance racks and at the outlets.
The Mocha Jordan 3s saw a second release in 2018 after sitting in the vault for 17 years.
