A'ja Wilson's Nike Signature Shoe: Nike A'ONE

A’ja Wilson will become the latest WNBA signature shoe athlete as the Nike A’ONE will release in 2025.

Wilson will become the latest addition to Nike’s signature shoe family joining the likes of established signature shoe lines such as the Nike LeBron, Nike KD, Nike Zoom Freak, Nike Sabrina, Nike Ja, and Nike Book.

For some, the announcement of A’ja’s signature shoe is overdue. For others, it’s right on time. Regardless, the Nike A’ONE will add to the momentum in the WNBA as Sabrina, A’ja, and Caitlin Clark will lead the charge for the Swoosh.

Wilson’s relationship with Nike tracks since entering the W, being the face of several shoe unveils from the Nike Cosmic Unity to the Nike Adapt BB.

In an interview with Nice Kicks in 2019, Wilson was asked if a signature shoe was in the works.

“I haven’t had any talks,” Wilson said. “Honestly, that would be a dream come true to have a shoe that a young person or any person could be rocking. It’s a big dream of mine to have a signature shoe,” she added.

At the time, Wilson believed she had more to do before getting a shoe.

“I have to get a little more oomph on my résumé to have a shoe, but it’s something that I would love to look forward to and collab with Nike on,” she stated.
