Collaborations often consist of new color concepts and updated fabrication. That’s just typically the nature of most joint ventures. However, though, Japanese designer Alexander Lee Chang had something else in mind for his latest with Vans.
In lieu of new colors or materials, Chang digs deeper by replacing the lacing system with three retro styled velcro straps. Keeping with the shoe’s OG color concept in tonal shades of blue, Chang boldly repurposed the elder silhouette triumphantly. Pairs of the Alexander Lee Chang x Vans Old Skool EZ are available now at Billy’s.
