It seems as though Alexander McQueen was on board with the chunky sneaker trend before it was even a thing. They’ve been known for the exaggerated sole since they first launched their sneaker collection, but this time they’re not using the Stan Smith-esque upper or its usual midsole.
This time, they look to the heritage running silhouette for inspiration on the upper, featuring a combination of white and black leathers that form a sophisticated presence. The midsole is still exaggerated, but it’s made to match the athletic inspiration with a more technical design.
The Alexander McQueen Exaggerated Sole Sneakers are now available at select retailers like MR.PORTER.
