Alexis Sablone’s Converse AS-1 Pro & Nike SB Dunk Low Collabs Release in a Limited-Edition “Chameleon” Pack

Converse and Nike are teaming up once again, this time with the creative vision of Converse CONS team rider and former Olympian Alexis Sablone, to deliver the limited-edition Alexis Sablone x Nike SB x Converse pack. The two-shoe capsule features her two standout collaborative silhouettes: the Converse AS-1 Pro and the Nike SB Dunk Low.

Sablone, who has also made her mark by designing skateboarding kits for the United States and Japan, infused a unique perspective into this collection. She crafted the designs through the lens of a chameleon — a creature known for its ability to change colors and adapt to its surroundings.

The chameleon inspiration is vividly brought to life on both the Converse AS-1 Pro and the Nike SB Dunk Low through earth-toned, tear-away uppers that reveal layers of color underneath. The uppers feature bumpy, reptilian textures, color-changing wear-away leather, and chameleon camo liners, adding a tactile and visual depth to the designs. The Federation Agnostic crest, a nod to Sablone’s universal approach to skateboarding culture, is subtly applied to the back of the tongue on both silhouettes.

The Converse AS-1 Pro, Sablone’s signature shoe that she co-designed with Converse last year, showcases a chameleon-inspired leather upper laid over a white base. The Star Chevron and heel underlay pop in a Fuchsia Glow, creating a striking contrast against the earth-toned exterior.

On the Nike SB Dunk Low, the chameleon theme continues with scaley patterns on a white upper. The Swoosh on the medial side is a standout, designed to mimic the distinct curve of a chameleon’s tongue, adding a playful touch to the iconic silhouette. To further personalize the design, Sablone embossed her initials, “A S,” on the heel, leaving an indelible mark on the collection.

This limited-edition twin pack, featuring both the Converse AS-1 Pro and the Nike SB Dunk Low, will drop on August 29.
