Truth be told, the Converse Chuck Taylor could remain relevant for another century by just dropping in the standard, black and white canvas form. While the model is almost 100 years old, it’s managed to move and maneuver with times, namely by holding on to its values, but also by collaborating with some of the best in the business. As Concepts looks to launch their latest interpretation of the All-Star silo, we look back at some of our favorite collaborators that have revamped the Chucks.

Different ends of the sneaker spectrum met in the middle on the Maison Martin Margiela x Converse Chuck Taylor Collection. The staple All-Star held shape and tone, doused with a fresh coat of MMM’s white paint. The more the shoe was worn, the more it showed its true colors and canvas composition.
