Prior to the 2003 NBA Draft, plenty of individuals made the case that Carmelo Anthony may shake out to be the best player to emerge. With his blend of inside and outside prowess along with a 6’8 frame, the Denver Nuggets felt as though a gem fell into their lap with the 3rd overall pick – and in fact it did. Right out of the gate, the newly signed Jordan Brand endorser helped lead the Nuggets to the playoffs and respective prominence within West. During his tenure in Denver, Melo would garner his very own signature line while sporting notable Air Jordan models. As time would progress, Melo would find his way back East to help bring star power to the Knicks.
