Anthony Edwards, the electrifying young star of the Minnesota Timberwolves, has been making waves in the NBA since his rookie year, and his latest season only elevated his rising profile. Averaging career-highs in points, assists, and rebounds, and successfully launching his first signature shoe with adidas, Edwards cemented himself as one of the faces of the NBA.
Now, Anthony Edwards is entering the gaming world with his involvement in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 campaign. As part of the game’s promotional efforts, Edwards has been replaced by The Replacer, Call of Duty’s Black Ops mascot, who replaces celebrities and athletes at their jobs while they play Call of Duty.

5. adidas AE 1 PE “3SSB”
The adidas AE 1 “3SSB” PE, crafted for Anthony Edwards, connects the Timberwolves star with adidas’ 3 Stripes Select Basketball (3SSB) circuit. The 3SSB circuit serves as a platform for top high school talent and the AE 1 “3SSB” PE not only reflects Edwards’ dynamic game through its bold color scheme but also pays homage to the grassroots competition where many future stars are born.
4. adidas AE 1 PE “Timberwolves”
Anthony Edwards laced up the adidas AE 1 “Timberwolves” PE during Minnesota’s final regular season game against the Phoenix Suns paying homage to the Timberwolves’ retro uniforms, blending bright blue with neon green accents to match the team’s aesthetic.
3. adidas AE 1 “Chome”
Following his breakout 2023-24 season wearing his signature adidas AE 1, Anthony Edwards debuted a new “Chome” colorway at Timberwolves Media Day. The turquoise lace swap is a nice touch matching his signature logo on the tongue and adidas branding on the heel. This is the first colorway to be mentioned that isn’t a PE as the pair is tentatively set to release in December 2024.
2. adidas AE 1 Low “Team USA”
Anthony Edwards made his Olympic debut at the 2024 Summer Games in Paris, where he rocked three special USA-themed colorways of his adidas AE 1, each in red, white, and navy blue. These low-top versions were designed to celebrate his role on Team USA, but it was the Navy Blue pair that stole the show in the Gold Medal game against France—Edwards’ personal favorite from the trio, which capped off his unforgettable Olympic run.
1. adidas AE 1 “Velocity Blue”
Another Timberwolves-inspired colorway claims the top spot in Anthony Edwards’ adidas AE 1 lineup. The adidas AE 1 “Velocity Blue” combines a futuristic design with a bold blue that echoes the pre-2017 T-Wolves era. Subtle nods to the Timberwolves come through in the “Aurora Green” accents, including the Three Stripes on the heel, an alternate set of laces, and Edwards’ signature logo on the tongue, cleverly resembling a pine tree.
