As an 80s baby, we all heard of the multiple stories of criminals getting caught thanks to their light-up LA Gear shoes making it impossible to escape in the dark of night for police in pursuit. Well, stupid criminals strike again and this time it is his Foamposites that might do him in.
At approximately 3:30AM on January 6, 2015, the Kangaroo Market in La Vergne, TN was held up by a man dressed in black head to toe hoodie and pants, but something that is sticking out and what the La Vergne Police Department are hoping for is that his Pink Nike Foamposites will help identify the suspect.
The suspect fled on foot with a handful of cigarillos, four packs of Newport cigarettes, and an undisclosed amount of cash. There were no injuries reported thankfully.
If you have any information, contact Detective Bobby McCoy at 615-287-8720 or Rutherford County Crime Stoppers at 615-893-STOP (7867).
Craigslist and eBay listings in the area for Pink Foamposites might just draw a red flag…

UPDATE: Upon further review of the footage and considering the blur of motion, it appears that the shoes in question could likely be the Nike LeBron 10 EXT “Denim” QS that sports a bright pink color on the bottom part of the shoe that is also visible through the clear outsole. (Shouts to Jimmy McNabb)
This would of course be far worse for the suspect as the “Denim” LeBron 10 EXTs were FAR more limited than the Pink Foamposites.
