Under Armour unveiled one of, if not its most innovative footwear design earlier this week in New York City. The Under Armour Spine, a silo inspired by what Under Armour refers to as the “most dynamic system ever created (human spine),” weighs in at 9.7 ounces. Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank was in attendance, along with UA’s creative director of footwear Dave Dombrow, UA’s senior vice president of footwear Gene McCarthy and others, to introduce the Spine. Additionally, brand members Tom Brady, Lindsey Vonn and Kemba Walker were present and shared their experiences in the Spine in regards to training. Check out a full photo recap of the Under Armour Spine event, which includes images of upcoming Spine colorways. The Under Armour Spine will officially release on June 29th, 2012 in multiple color schemes.
